Who is St. Paul’s?

Daily Devotions for Individuals and Families can be found on pages 136 – 140 of the Book of Common Prayer. Also see Prayers and Thanksgivings on pages 810-841

St. Paul’s is a loving community of committed Christians. We care about each other and we want to care about you. We are diverse in our backgrounds and individual beliefs and yet we walk together by making our experience of Jesus Christ more real within the common bond of our Episcopal family.

Who are Episcopalians and what do we believe?

  • SCRIPTURE: Episcopalians are people of faith. We believe the Holy Scriptures contain all that is necessary for our salvation, that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, that the Holy Spirit is God’s love working through us as the church.
  • TRADITION: We preserve our faith through a tradition which goes back to England in 400 AD. Tradition is reflected in our church government, our worship, our determinations as a church and diocese.
  • REASON: Episcopalians can be enthusiastic about their belief and joyful in their worship. We believe that God gives us reason and intellect, and through application of reason, our path in belief may become clear.
